Guided by local runner and Yttersia Base founder Markus Jansen, participants will explore some of Senja’s most beautiful trails and mountain landscapes while sharing stories, meals and adventures with like-minded people.

What to Expect
Thursday
Arrival at Yttersia Base.
Dinner, introductions and planning for the weekend ahead. Meet your fellow runners and enjoy a relaxed evening by the sea.
Friday
Breakfast followed by a briefing and route planning.
The day’s run will be adapted to weather, trail conditions and group experience. Routes typically range from 10–20+ kilometers and 1,000–1,500 meters of elevation gain.
After returning to Yttersia Base, enjoy a warm shower, recovery stretching in our yoga and retreat room, dinner and a relaxing sauna session.
Saturday
Another full day of mountain running.
We’ll explore different terrain and peaks depending on conditions and group preferences. For those interested, an optional sunset run may be organized in the evening.
Dinner, sauna and storytelling back at Yttersia Base.
Sunday
Breakfast followed by a short recovery run or an optional kayaking excursion to the magical Bergsøyan islands before departure.
Guests are welcome to arrive earlier or extend their stay before or after the weekend.
