Tromsø Airport (TOS)

Northern Norway’s main gateway, with direct routes from more than 20 European cities. Reach Yttersia Base within 2 hours using the connecting ferry between Brensholmen and Botnhamn.

Bardufoss Airport (BDU)

Our closest airport — just a smooth 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Skaland.

Plan your preferred route before you set off

01 · Tromsø arrival

From Tromsø — travel by car in 2.5 hours via the Brensholmen–Botnhamn ferry, or allow 3 hours by road through the mainland. Arctic Route also connects Tromsø to Senja with daily departures year-round.

02 · Bardufoss transfer

From Bardufoss Airport, it’s a smooth and easy drive. Total travel time: about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

03 · Summer ferry

In summer, the scenic Andenes–Gryllefjord ferry connects Senja with Andøya and the northern part of Lofoten — ideal when you’re exploring Northern Norway by car.

04 · Oslo connection

From Oslo, strong connections through Tromsø and Bardufoss make the full door-to-door journey around 6 hours — flight, airport transfer, and a short coastal drive.

05 · Private pickup
