By renting equipment from Yttersia Base AS, the renter agrees to the following terms and conditions.

General

All equipment is rented at the renter’s own responsibility. The renter confirms that they have the necessary skills and experience to safely use the rented equipment.

Yttersia Base AS reserves the right to refuse rental if weather conditions, safety concerns or equipment availability require it.

Equipment & Responsibility

The renter is responsible for the equipment during the rental period and agrees to return it in the same condition as received.

Any loss, theft or damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged to the renter.

Safety

The renter is responsible for using the equipment safely and according to local laws and recommendations.

Yttersia Base AS is not responsible for injuries, accidents, damage or losses occurring during the rental period.

Weather & Conditions

Weather and sea/mountain conditions on Senja can change rapidly. The renter is responsible for assessing conditions before use.

Yttersia Base AS may cancel or refuse rentals due to unsafe conditions.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time are fully refundable.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the rental start time are non-refundable.

If Yttersia Base AS cancels due to weather or safety conditions, a full refund will be provided.

Return of Equipment

Equipment must be returned at the agreed time unless otherwise arranged.

Late returns may result in additional charges.
